Any denizen of Silicon Valley worth his or her salt knows how and where to buy electronics--most of the time, anyways: You pick up the Merc and look at Fry's' daily specials. But wait! You don't have to subscribe to a paper just because of that:

Lucky that as US papers go, the Merc's a purty good 'un. Othewise, as a friend of mine put it, most of us would just cancel our subscriptions...
